OST shortlisted for Best Use of Social Media at B2B Marketing Awards
August – a fabulous month that has ended in wonderful sunshine and fantastic news for the OST Marketing team: a nomination for Best Use of Social Media at the prestigious B2B Marketing Awards!
OST has been working with Zoetis, the world’s largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock, for four years in both a B2C and B2B capacity. Our work with the pharmaceutical giant is already award-winning and now we have yet another nomination, this time from the B2B Marketing Awards.

We are up for the Best use of Social Media Award for our campaign to build the most active and engaged online community of livestock farmers in the UK. We are competing for the award against brands such as Oracle, and Powownow – so the pressure is definitely on!
The Livestock Farming project itself has involved working with Zoetis across the entire inbound marketing spectrum, including content (imagery, video, animation, copy), community management, influencer marketing and social advertising, to build an active community of beef, dairy, pig and sheep farmers, as well as industry practitioners, on Facebook and Twitter.

During 2016/17, the campaign has exceeded all expectations. We have developed a genuine social media community of over 80,000 farmers and vets, supported by the livestockfarming.co.uk, blog where our regular posts attracts thousands of monthly views. The social channels are now cited within the UK farming media as industry-leading, providing an invaluable source of community and information.
We are all looking forward to November 23rd, when the awards are announced, and the prospect of yet another award for this excellent B2B marketing project. Congratulations to the team and, please, keep your fingers crossed for us!
